Just Eat Takeaway.com has launched JETads, an advertising platform now live in all 14 of its markets, including the UK.
JET calls it “AI-first”. It runs on the personalisation technology the group already uses to decide what customers see in the app. Advertisers can reach 59 million active consumers, who place 592 million orders a year across more than 342,000 restaurant and grocery partners.
Those partners are the first group of advertisers. They can pay for more prominent placement in search and browse while customers are still choosing what to order.
FMCG brands get native ad formats and proprietary audience segments to reach shoppers as they build grocery baskets. Reporting for them is closed-loop, tracking spend through to basket adds and completed orders rather than stopping at clicks and impressions.
STAY AHEAD OF UK ECOMMERCE

Brands with no link to food or grocery are being sold the post-checkout window. That’s the stretch of up to 30 minutes when customers sit in the app watching their delivery.
Targeting runs on the Large Commerce Model built by Prosus, which completed its takeover of JET in October 2025. The model learns from customer behaviour to predict what someone wants and when. It can tell, for example, that a Friday night order looks different from a Tuesday lunch, or spot a household that regularly orders for a large family.
Chief growth officer David Vismans said the platform had been built “from scratch, for the AI era”.
The launch makes JET the latest platform to turn first-party purchase data into an ad business, following the retail media push led by Amazon and Tesco. Pricing hasn’t been published. Advertiser details are at ads.justeattakeaway.com.
